People are supported into education and training, voluntary work and employment. Carpet Cleaning Care

Offers opportunities for people in contact with mental health services to learn work skills and gain confidence through paid training on the job. The project is an aspiring social enterprise that provides high quality carpet, upholstery and hard floor (wood and linoleum) cleaning to paying customers in the community.

First Step Trust

Provides personalised employment and on the job training opportunities. FST’s programme includes access to commercial work experience with training and one to one support with the job application process. People are able to build a work history, develop their skills and gain nationally recognised qualifications in bookkeeping, retail, creative media, IT skills and food hygiene. There are a range of work areas including; car mechanics, horticulture, maintenance, catering and business administration.

Mosaic Clubhouse

Provides opportunities for individuals to regain the confidence and skills necessary to lead productive and satisfying lives. People are given opportunities to form meaningful relationships, develop new skills, increase their confidence and overcome personal barriers they may face in returning to work or accessing educational opportunities.

Share community

Provides training, personal development and employment support to disabled people and those facing health related barriers to employment (including mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety) SHARE supports people so that they can progress towards their individual goals for life whether that is participation in the community, further training and education, or employment.

Provides support to adults with mental health issues, learning disabilities and ex- offenders through a number of residential / supported housing services, resource centre, community outreach and two social enterprises in catering and painting and decorating. We also have a ‘Through the gate’ and befriending service for offenders with mental health issues who are coming out of prison.
